static electricity? We keep shocking each other and

Josh likes to make the kids hair stick up =)

Dreaming of a white Thanksgiving

There is something so magical about falling snow

The snow kept falling and falling and falling

It was so fun!

Jacob was confused and excited to play in the snow. 

We don't have any snow gear since it rarely snows

and when it does it's not much

so he was triple layered if not more

He would play till his fingers got cold, 5-10 minutes

then come in and get warm, 5-10 minutes then go back out.

This lasted a few hours

 Jacob thought it was a good idea to sweep the snow

This is what Peyton thought of the snow

"It's cold. I don't like it. Get me away from this"

There we go, much better.

Let's just keep this door shut.

It seemed strange to see my Fall display with snow on it

 It took me a few hours to figure out why the birds were attacking my

corn stocks on my fall display, then I light went on...

DAH! They are starving! Their food is covered under 5 inches of snow

So I threw some bread and pumpkin seeds outside and it was gone QUICK!

Jacob's 2nd Birthday Party

Thanks for everyone who came to Jacob's birthday party!!!

It was SUPER FUN!

Okay... I may not be the super mom who makes elaborate birthday cakes, 

but this ice cream cake from DQ was AMAZING!!!!!!

Great job Uncle Riley for picking it out!

Grandpa decided that he needed to out do everyone and get

Jacob a youth size basket ball hoop and put it together in my living room.

If this is any indication of what the future birthday presents will bring, 

my kids are going to be SPOILED

And that's okay with me

I think he loves being a grandpa! ;)
