Jacob is figuring out the rolling thing!

He can't quite figure out how to go forward

but I'm sure that's coming very soon =)

I no longer remember what it feels like to sleep

After 7 1/2 months Jacob is still not sleeping through the night. Not at all. Not even close. Momma is TIRED!!! He wakes up EVERY 3 hours... no joke. He's almost 100% breast fed and maybe this has something to do with it, maybe not. I don't know. I'm just not a fan of the cry out method. I don't think badly of people who do, it's just not for me. It just doesn't feel right to let him scream him self to sleep. Now, we don't jump at the first sign of fussing, we let him try to go back to sleep on his own and it works about 50% of the time. We just don't feel comfortable. We tried in once and he freaked out! It took him 2 hours to calm down after we went and picked him up. It was very sad. And ever since then, I kid you not, he learn how to really SCREAM and now he does it almost everyday during the day when he wants something. SO...... After all that... any advice? I am one tired momma. Solid food didn't help one little bit. It actually made it so he doesn't poop regularly anymore, so we stopped feeding him solids daily. I don't know. I will talk to his dr at his next appointment, but that's not till 9 months. He is a pretty happy boy most of the time. I just wanted to see what has worked for my friends. Any advice is welcome. Thanks!!! =)

7 Months

I'm a little late on this one

Current:

Weight: 23.5 pounds (bathroom scale)

Hair color: strawberry blonde with a bald patch in back

Eye color: Grayish blue with brown in the middle

He stated rice cereal

He hasn't crawled yet, or even gotten on all fours

but it's just around the corner cause he seems very interested

He has 4 teeth on the top and 2 on bottom

OH and he grinds his teeth during the day YUCK

I hate that sound, it's like nails on a chalk board

He wears 12-18 months clothes, but the 12 month are 

starting to get too small, I can't believe it

5/29/09 he started saying dadadada

Likes:

Mommy and Daddy

Mommies full and undivided attention

Mommies you know whats

Eating solids, he's a very clean eater so far

(We only gave him a little rice cereal cause

we're not in any hurry to feed him solids)

Bath time, splashing and toys

Music, especially being sung to

Playing with his tongue

Biting everything and everyone

Standing up

Being bounced around

Looking out the window and being outside

Making as much noise as possible (I still think it's cute)

He bangs toys together, sings, babbles and breathes heavy =)

Being tickled

Being tossed in the air

Dislikes:

Being hungry, tired, or too hot

Sleeping for longer than 4 hours at a time... ugh

Strongly dislikes his pacifier to pacify him

He only likes to play with his pacifier like a toy

Watching someone walk away from him, especially mommy

Water

Loud people (sorry Rach lol, he does love you though)

Being on his tummy too long, he lets you know

SOOO much to catch up on

I apologize for the absence, we haven't had the internet for 

3 WEEKS!!! I was going crazy!
