Twilight series

You NEED to read these books! It is seriously the best series NO the best books I have ever read! I highly recommend them. It's hard to say what the books are about with out giving anything away, but it's about a girl who lives in WA and it's the greatest love story EVER! I couldn't put these books down! There are 3 books out, the forth is coming out in August, it starts with Twilight, then New Moon, and Eclipse. I seriously read these for books in freakin 4 days!!! That's how good they are! JUST READ THEM, YOU WILL LOVE THEM =)

Time for an update

So some of you may or may not know... I'M PREGNANT! I'm 16 weeks and in 2 weeks we find out if we are having a boy or a girl! We are SO excited! Oh and both are families are just over joyed! I'm starting to "show" which is making it more real for me and Josh. As of now my due date is November 11th, but as those of you who have been pregnant, sometimes that changes after this next ultra sound. I know that it's a bit early, but I swear I have felt the baby move 3 times! If felt just like there was a little gold fish inside me to a quick 1 second swim by. But if that's what it was, it felt amazing! I cant wait to feel more! We have no idea what to name this child. It's hard naming someone! You hope that it's the right name and that they will like it, and we don't agree on very many. But there is lots of time. We are very blessed and very excited to be parents! I will be sure to update our blogging friends on how everything is going. Any guesses on boy or girl??? =)

This is our babies first picture! I can't believe it when I saw it! =)

My Birthday Surprise!!!

Josh is so wonderful! Tonight for my birthday (don't worry my birthday is really the 7th so you still have time to get me something lol) Josh had a BIG surprise for me! He has been hinting for months that he had something up his sleeve and if you know my husband he cannot keep a secret like this to save him life, so I was very impressed! Well, all he told me was he was taking me out for dinner and we had to wear sunday best because the restaurant had a dress code. That got my mind racing of any place he has ever talked about trying to figure it out. So we leave out house at 5, drive around Seattle, I was reading the directions, and we pull up to this amazing restaurant that is just beautiful, it's called Canlis.

We walk in and the entire staff was standing in a line greeting us, oh and I got to mention they only have valet for parking so that was kinda neat. Well the entire staff greeted us as we walked and everyone seemed to know who we were, it was a little crazy, but I felt kinda like a celebrity! As the hostess is walking us to our table, we pass the seating area and just keep walking so I think that was kinda weird, but he takes us to this little room that was beautifully decorated and was just ours with one table. It was AMAZING! we were at the corner of the building and 2 walls were solid windows over looking the water. WOW! First class all the way! We had our own personal server who was SO nice, which I was relieve because some of the staff were so snobby! There was a telescope in the corner as you can see and we were trying to spy on people, but see didn't find anything good =)

Our table was simply amazing!

This little treat is the first thing that came. Smoked Salmon on goat cheese. I'm not a fish person and I can't have salmon because it has too much mercury, so Josh ate the salmon for me and I ate the rest, on top that is a little tiny orange slice, this little this was amazing! So full of flavor! And so cute!

So next we had a salad and I didn't take a picture cause it was just a salad, but after that, we had our pallet cleansed with a cucumber mint sorbet. It tasted like that cucumber mellon lotion! It wasn't bad, it was very different.

Josh's main corse was the salmon and twice baked potatoes. Look how pretty the presentation is! Those potatoes were the most amazing thing that I have ever tasted! WOW! Every bite was like a party in my taste buds!

I got the Japanese beef tenderloin, little did I know when I ordered it that this was going to be the most incredible piece of steak I have ever tasted. It literally melted in my mouth! AMAZING! That purple stuff decorating the place was some sweet sauce that was so good!

My dessert was a lava cake. It was good, very rich, I could only eat half of it. In the background the waitress brought us a soufflĂ© on the house! SO SWEET OF HER! It was very airy cake with a vanilla bean glaze.

Josh got an ice cream sunday, look out beautiful that plate is! Those little bananas were so good, they were caramelized on the top like creme brulee.

Here's us! Not the greatest picture, but I had to post at least 1

The last little treat our waitress brought us was these little banana cakes with walnuts.

This is just a little video of our amazing room and view! We were so stuffed by the end! We had this room reserved the whole night so we weren't in a hurry to leave.

I'm pretty sure that we were the youngest people there! When we finally gave up our first class room, as we were leaving there were a lot of old rich people every where! And they weren't the nicest. I was so glad that we were away from all of them, because I would have felt really uncomfortable trying to be proper in front of them. =) As we walked to the front door, before we even got outside and talked to a parking attendant, our car pulled up! HOW DID THEY KNOW!? I guess they have some secret system. They don't give you a ticket or anything, somehow they just know, it was crazy! =)
So that was my incredible birthday surprise! I'm pretty sure I have the most amazing husband! I feel like the luckiest girl in the whole world! Oh I love Josh so much! Thank you Joshie!

Sorry it's been SO LONG!

It's has been such a long time since I posted anything on our blog! I'm so sorry to our friends and family that have been checking in with it to see how we are doing. We are doing really wonderful! Life has been crazy and unexpected lately! I will get more into that later, but we are doing really GREAT! We still LOVE being married! =)

On Wednesday it was my mom's birthday! I wont say how old she is, but I'm still in a little bit of a shock because I thought my parents were younger! They need to stop getting older because I need them to be young forever! Just to give you a little perspective, Josh's grandmother is just a few years older than my parents!!! =) We went to the Ram in Kent Station, and I must say I was impressed for the first time by that restaurant. I have eaten there 3 times before and I guess I must have ordered the wrong things because it wasn't that great. But I didn't say anything because it was my mom's birthday, and it turned out to be pretty good! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Kent Station! I don't know why, I just think it's beautiful and classy and I always have fun when I'm down there.

We had a really fun Easter! We went to church, than my mom made a wonderful Easter dinner. It's so great to visit because I get to see Henry my parents baby (well he's a dog, but he is like there little baby). The only thing is now that I'm not around him all the time I get more and more allergic reactions when I'm around him now. It makes me so sad because I love him so much! Plus he is supposed to be a hypoallergenic dog, so does this mean I'm allergic to all dogs? That would make me very sad because I LOVE dogs! Josh and I are thinking that one day will will get a golden retriever or maybe a german shepherd, a big dog that is smart, loving and protective. But that would really crush my dreams if I was allergic. Well, than we headed to Graham to hang out with Josh's family. We were at his cousin's house Angie. She's so beautiful! She's is about 2 weeks away from delivering her baby boy, and she looks so cute and pregnant! I love spending time with all of Josh's family! I really lucked out with the in laws, because they are all so great! And I'm not just saying that either, they are very different from my family, but I think that just makes it more fun and interesting.

Well Josh has been really busy with his business lately! It just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Things are going AWESOME! We are so happy about that! We are so blessed. We are looking at houses and so far it's been really fun AND really frustrating at the same time. I can't wait till we find one that we both love. Our lease isn't up till August, so we are not in a hurry, we are just getting our feet wet and preparing our self for the unpredictability of the market.

Well, that's all for now. Sorry no pictures this time, I know a blog without pictures can be really boring =) Hope everyone is doing well! I will try to be better about the updates! There will be a lot to talk about in the near future! =)

Salty's Brunch

This weekend we did one of our favorite things! We went to Salty's for their brunch on Saturday. It's AMAZING!!! It's buffet style all you can eat of the most incredible food! And it's not all seafood, which I'm not the biggest seafood fan, so that works for me. There is everything from a tall chocolate fountain, waffles, hearty breakfast items,  seafood (obviously), and DESSERTS! You need to make reservations if you would like to go and Salty's has it for Saturday and Sunday and we highly recommend it to everyone!
We went with Shelley, Josh's mom and we were their for 2+ hours eating and talking, it was awesome!
We had the best table right by the window over looking Seattle!

I really wish that I would have taken more pictures of the food because it was so delicious and it all looked so amazing!

My favorite plate, the DESSERTS! There are so so so many more desserts that you don't see here on my plate! My favorite (not shown on plate) was the Creme Brulee and the chocolate fountain. You know that it's high quality chocolate when the chocolate gets hard when it dries, not like oily syrup .

If you are familiar with Alki Salty's, when you are seated my the window, right out side the window there is a ledge as you can see and this little guy walked right up to our table and I thought he was kinda cute =)

2008 New Year

I can't believe 2007 is over! I know that everyone says that every year, but for me, I really mean it when I say that the year has really flown by! So much happened this year. We got engaged in March, married in July, moved into our first place together, and now I'm just trying to figure out how to be a good wife. =) We have so many goals for the new year and I think it's going to be our best yet! We want to pay off some debt and get into more debt by buying a house when our lease it up! I'm so excited!!! We are already looking at where we want to live and houses we like, it's all so grown up! lol
This is our midnight kiss!
I love Sparkling Cider!!!

And then I decided to have fun with Photo Booth! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Mac

I was getting a little hyper!

Well Happy 2008 everyone!
We know it's the best year yet for us!
